My name is Lydia Speight and I study Media, Communication and Cultural studies at Newcastle University. I love indulging in gender equality issues on my course and I am keen to expand my knowledge at the summer school. Also, I particularly enjoy writing and I often produce articles for the fashion section of the University newspaper. In my spare time I go travelling, camping and go to music festivals. I love animals and I am passionate about the environment.
