My name 
is Lucy and I study Journalism at Newcastle University.
I enjoy being creative and I spend most of my time writing. Sometimes I write for the student paper but I mostly just write for fun. I also love to cook; I am particularly interested in nutrition and the effects of different foods on the body and mind. I work part time in an artist’s studio making ceramics and I like to spend my free time going out with friends!
I have limited knowledge of the gender inequalities that exist within the media, but it is an issue that I think is of great importance. I am excited to learn new things and broaden my understanding of the industry through participation in this course 🙂
